How we handle the personal data in the documents you send us.
What we collect
The contact details you enter in the quote form, and the contents of any document you send us for translation, legalisation or retrieval. Official documents inevitably contain personal data — names, dates of birth, addresses, family relationships — which we process solely to carry out the work you asked for.
Who sees it
The project coordinator, the translator and the reviewer assigned to your job, and, where the work requires it, the government office, notary or embassy processing the document. All linguists work under written confidentiality obligations. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after twelve months. Completed jobs are retained for the period needed to reissue a certified translation if you ask for a copy, after which files are deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner by writing to the address below.
